My, what a scary sounding name for a tool LOLWhile you're looking at die grinders, check out a body saw. GREAT for trimming plastic (air dams, bumper covers, splash shields, resonator tubes...)
Those saws do too. Pretty much anytime you cut plastic with a saw or cut off wheel, it tries to melt back together. If you could use a saw blade with coarse enough teeth it might not, but then they grab. The best way to cut plastic is with a hot knife.I was going ro suggest using the air body saw instead of the die grinder with cut-off wheel on the plastic. The die grinder spins too fast and melts/rolls the plastic and makes more of a mess on the cut edge to have to clean up.

When I swapped rear shocks on my ‘08, I read the bulletin, installed shocks, forgot bulletin, got error lights, remembered bulletin, fixed it.
