Maybe the Dorman one fits both tubes. The caps don’t need to screw in BTW. My Clean Side Separator just pushes on, the o-ring seals it up. But if I were you Id just but the OEM tube.
Which means I got to pull the valve cover again to replace it.

Really? The NBS just screw on from the outside, no need to pull the valve cover.Which means I got to pull the valve cover again to replace it.
Maybe pull the neg batt terminal for a few minutes, reconnect it and try again.
I've read about this problem on this forum in the past, I know there's a post about it.
Try this workaround.
Yeah it’s just a twist lock. Just like the cap. But when that locking tab locks in place in the cover there is no getting it out without breaking it and risking pieces falling into the head. Even with it off I used a pick and a screwdriver to try and unlock the tab and no go. Had to break it apart some to get it out.Really? Yes! I actually haven't been able to put the time in for about a month now. Really annoying. So after I put in the new battery, obviously the clock reset. Now I can't get the clock to put a time in. Anyone ever have this problem?
Woooow I will have to try that next time I go out into the garage. I was just out there to put the z71 skid plate on, and quickly found out why people on here say you need those GM self tapping screws. Damnit.Try this workaround.
