What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Woooow I will have to try that next time I go out into the garage. I was just out there to put the z71 skid plate on, and quickly found out why people on here say you need those GM self tapping screws. Damnit.
the old nbs ones are the same bolt, if you wander around the junkyard you can probably find a few for cheap, Stealer is going to want $7~9 each

Are the ones that got the skid plate from the factory held in place by the GM self tapping screws? Or were the bolt holes threaded? The part number for the fasteners I’ve seen on here were self tappers but I don’t know if that’s for the normal one or what. If the bolts aren’t self tapping, I’ll have to get a tap :/

mine went in fine, didn't need a tap

All I know is that my bolt holes aren’t threaded. Will swing by a parts yard soon though. Do you know what size the heads were? I just wanna have the pates on before snow is on the ground
I believe they are 15mm but I could be wrong, those are tapered though easy to spot, you will probably a see at least a couple under every gm truck/suv in the yard laying on the ground

thank ya for the info! I may see about snagging the tcase skid plate but I think I read that it’s built into the crossmember?
