What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

So over the last week I am getting large puffs of blue smoke out the tailpipe at start (mostly in the morning after sitting all night). Looking like I may be due for some valve seals

So thinking more on this...can someone confirm for me that the part number for the upgraded valve cover design is 12570427? I’m wondering if they PCV system is possibly clogged and causing my smoking problem. I’m getting almost no oil in my catch can

Don't know if its new but that is what the catalog shows at GMPartsGiant.

I thought one but I could be wrong. It’s why I asked. I know I’ve seen it posted and I think it was in this thread I thought it might have been @iamdub who posted about it

So I just watched a video for the updated valve cover and it looked waaay to easy. Is there anything I'm missing that I would need to do besides just pop the cover off and place the updated one back on? Or am I overthinking it. Would I need to clean anything, oil, new seals, etc? It just looked super simple.

Well, there are two and it depends on the size of the hose fitting which I think one design is for the 2007-2008 engines and the other is for the 2009+. But, don't you have a 2013? I thought you did and if so, should already have it as the update was done around April 2011.

Mine took the updated one with PN# 12642655.

Mines an old pos 2007. I'd take a 13' though!
