I have no experience with or opinion on the one you posted but if you want protection without it being intrusive I would suggest clear bra.
I have just been watching a video on that. Asked the wife if she thought we could do it ourselves. We don’t think we want to attempt it. I may look for someone to do it for me.

Got the new batteries installed and I was able to piggyback the 2nd battery ground to the factory ground for the main battery so both are connected to the RVC I'm happy truck is happy, haven't seen it sit at 14v in forever

How did you piggy back the RVC? My dual battery setup keeps me around 14V until the cooling fans come on high while my cooled seats are on. Then it's down to around 12V

I had a 7' ground cable made and connected both battery's together, I assume because these are both new battery's that they are working 100% which is why it is staying at 14v or above I just drove it a couple miles since then, I think one of my old batteries is borderline no good the fans seemed to be putting a strain on the system and I have been having a problem with my old batteries holding a load after a couple of minutes with the key on it would tell me low battery but would always start fine the California heat just kills battery's I am going to take the old ones tomorrow or monday to be tested where I bought them and I bet they replace at least one of them

Agreed. With that Weathertech I see dirt and crap getting trapped between it and the hood with no way to clean under it so it eventually grinds your paint off.

Just have a body shop apply it. They do a lot of it.

I am not sure I am sold on it yet. I would like to look at an install on another vehicle.

There was a member on here that tried to take that ‘stick to the hood kind’ off and it peeled the paint but I think his was on from new, the previous owner.

clear bra, many tint shops do it since it’s like applying tint.

I have the stand-off kind on my hoe and I clear bra’ed the yukon. The standoff is hard to see with the truck being black until you’re on top of the truck.3E62DC1A-6D60-4836-A1DB-884126F42E04.jpeg9C8D7771-D7BC-41A2-ADA3-875D7A1421C8.jpeg68D35055-86D8-4E8B-AA76-B3EF8545D7AE.jpeg6D065D71-3E13-4F79-A220-B14E91F79F4D.jpeg

I hope this solves it for ya doubie. I don’t know why your truck doesn’t like the rvc... mine is still going strong...... (I just gave it the kiss of death now)
