Put the meats on and went to our local monthly meet at Twin Peaks. I enjoyed two things about tonight. One, it was so nice to get out. With all the $h1t going on in the world.. for 3 hours it was nothing but different ages, different races, different genders, different cars, different builds, different styles... all just hanging out together for one passion. Two, I got a LOT of compliments haha. I have been working on this suspension for a while now, and then the gears, and then this and then that.. before I knew it I hadn't taken it to a meet in almost 6 montbs. It was nice to finally have it sitting at a stage where I could go show it off.

Yes, the car scene is glorious like that, all the flavors of the rainbow, sizes and the smell of octane......Its an amazing thing. The rest of the nation could learn a thing or two from the automotive scene.........**** gear heads were recycling before it was cool, in the sake of going fast or looking cool.

and Dude.....the stance of your Yukon is fu$kin ****.

Thank you! It's been a long road, I'm really happy with how it turned out. The design of the control arms brings the wheel in a little bit. Before the drag radials were almost 2" outside the fender and looked goofy as hell. Now they're out a 1/4-1/2" and look mint. I think I may actually get some spacers for the Declads and bring them out flush.

Installed passenger side LED headlight. This will allow me to do an A- B comparison with the Silverstar on the driver side which is the tougher one to install.

I really like how GM made that fourth screw for the intake airbox E065106C-202E-4F50-A23D-8476BD11D7F1.jpeg almost impossible to access with all those nice sharp metal and plastic edges near it!

I still have those sheets of whatever you want to call it behind the housings. Yours are cut to give you better access. I left mine intact.

Popped the grill off to remove the red GMC badge and install the black one, also to get some measurements on the trans cooler area.

Noticed the A-frame that's in frontbof the radiator must be aluminum, my magnet light wouldn't stick to it. It also wouldn't stick on that top core support that runs all the way across behind the headlights and under the plastic cover. It's either aluminum also or has a very thick paint layer on it.

I have a black GMC badge for the rear, but I need to get a 3m magic eraser before I remove that one. 731d3b86b044903bbcf6b35df6056706.jpgcc20d8837097694a23baf954a5ae58ec.jpg
