Sorry to say but you are going to end up pulling the wiper motor...

Thanks for the reply.... not what I was hoping to hear but at least someone responded... lol

I actually found a video where a guy just loosened the bolts securing it to the lift gate a little bit and stuck his hand in one of the holes from the side and was able to remove that nut... so that will be my first approach, hopefully it works, if not it's not that much more to pull the motor.

I still have those sheets of whatever you want to call it behind the housings. Yours are cut to give you better access. I left mine intact.

The xmas tree clip wouldn't budge....so on the spot modifications were required. Actually in April when passenger Silverstar crapped out.

Drivers side is a whole another matter..uggh

Just be careful when you put the applique back on not to overtighten the nuts... most people crank on them and that's what causes them to snap... you can ask @RichardCranium about this he just put a hatch on his tahoe and had to swap out his applique...

Long story....

Got in it last night after work, first time driving it since last weekend, to go pick up my daughter from soccer practice, about 5 min away, up a pot hole filled gravel drive. Parked it and waited for 10 with a/c on. Drove home and turned in the gravel before my ‘paved’ driveway and backed in.
As I’m backing up, mind you the radio and a/c are on and I’m talking to my daughter, We both stopped and looked at each other.... what was that? It sounded like I backed over my kids metal scooter..
I know there was nothing on the driveway so I quick popped the windows and cut the a/c pull foward and it sounds worse... metal on metal....back up again and gone.... nothing, no noise, no nothing....
Jacked it up this morning.... nothing..went for gas...nothing.... just drove about 20 miles away to softball game.... nothing

oh well..... such is life.....shit happens

Check the calipers and bracket bolts.
