150 shouldn't be bad at all (if you can get it there) I have ran mine 130+ and she sails smooth as glass, you do get some noticeably increased wind noise

***pretty sure you would need different gearing anyway the 3.42 3.73 just isn't going to get there without increased rpm, @swathdiver what would it take 7k 8k???

Well, your Denali would be turning about 4600 rpms (mathematically) at 150 mph in 5th gear.

so basically if it was lowered to 1' off the ground the roof was cut off it might hit 150 :p:p:p

I was thinking of this and on another forum saw a fellow also wanting to cruise at 110 and came across this photo:

If true, this fellas truck needed a whole lot more rpms to overcome the drag at that speed. I know he was in Texas and believe that this was a GMT900 6.2 Silverado and those have 3.73 gears.

ya that's kind of why I figured more rpms obviously in a lower gear to overcome the drag, the top speed in these trucks is approx 137, in stock form, the main limiting factor being the rpms
