What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Oh, last night when I went and got gas at the Mobil station near me, their E85 ($1.84 gal) pumps had a bag over the handles and were out of order, so I got their premium plus @$2.65 gallon. Took 26 gallons and the alcohol % went from 72 down to 17.

I haven't ran 93 octane in a while, usually get E85 when I can.

It'll just get rusty looking again. I don't know why, but all driveshafts do that unless they're aluminum.

Just get an aluminum driveshaft

I may do something about that driveshaft one day. I'm thinking I'll let it idle in gear while I hold my grinder with a wire wheel to it.

The shaft on my Burb is aluminum.

I wonder if it's because my shaft is longer than yours?

Not enough clear highway, HP nor safe aerodynamics for 150!

But, I am kinda plotting a more appropriate driveshaft. I've hit the 120s LOTS of times and felt nothing amiss, but I'd still consider that tempting fate. I'm fine going "only" 120ish. Getting there quicker is what interests me.

150 shouldn't be bad at all (if you can get it there) I have ran mine 130+ and she sails smooth as glass, you do get some noticeably increased wind noise

***pretty sure you would need different gearing anyway the 3.42 3.73 just isn't going to get there without increased rpm, @swathdiver what would it take 7k 8k???
