DOOOOD! Leave 'em alone! I was messing with you! They're a metal circle- it makes no difference of their orientation.

Sorry for the bad joke. In my mind, it would've been taken like the instruction to position the valve stems of your tires at the 6 o'clock position when you rotate your tires so they're all synchronized.

Well I finally took a little christmas cash and bought the plug and play flash logic remote starter. Knowing my luck, it will be 50 degrees+ for the remainder of the winter, and I'll never use it.
Nice! Shoot, I remote start mine every time I drive. Get her closer to operating temp before driving. Lol.

Reinstalled the spare. I was gonna lube the spare hoist assembly and cable, but decided I didn't want all that mess in addition to having to change the tire next time I have a flat.

It all looked fine:

...And operated fine. I can turn the hoist by hand (using two fingertips with pinky extended because I'm a civilized Neanderthal):

One day i need to try this thing out.
I would hate to try and figure it out on the side of the road... :D

I do have a tire patch kit and one of those 12v pumps.
Pretty much it's the spare tire setup i have for the vette.
C5 wheels, and C6 Brakes, can't clearance the original spare that came with the C4.

Ditto,
I like how it turns on the AC for me when it's hot outside, and when it's cold the heater gets turned on with the heated seats.

I just wish it would run until full operating temp before it auto shuts off.

Yaaaas. So many forget to check the spare's air pressure and hoist operation. Subsequently, so many end up cutting the cable to get their spare down so they can have a passerby bring them to a service station to have it aired up.
