What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

What are the options? I suppose I could cut the end of the cable, but will it run back up through the other latch?

is there a key spot or two to squirt some penetrant into?

I don’t “need” it down right this minute. Original 10 year old spare. Was going to get it replaced with a new one that matched the other KO2 tires on the ground.

Tightening it back until the double clicks worked. I really had to lean into it to get them, but it worked like a champ after.

now it has a crap load of oil soaking in.
Like I said, it’s a wonderful design on GM’s part. Imagine being on the side of the road at night trying to fight that damn thing.
