And i got another package for the 6.0 build today.
Fedex flaked out on me for friday.
Odd to see a sunday delivery.

And my new block should show up this week, hopefully tomorrow.

Then I'm waiting till april for the next big order.

Credit card and credit score reasons...
Turn of the month i have to be under 50% of the limit...
 :D

Broomhandle is next on my list.

Originally i was going to get an earlier example in .30 luger, but freedom seeds in that cal became impossible to find.
Mostly i wanted a nice example for as little $$.

This one cost me a bit more, but it's a much better investment.

As for the way it feels, so for a modern grip like i was trained for.
The luger is weird.
I was taught to grip the pew in a straight line with my arm.
The luger seems to like a different grip...
Still figuring it out, however it feels best with a one handed hold.

Made for a shooting style from another time.

Indeed it was designed for single handed shooting, like the 1911 and my old cap and ball revolvers. We laugh when the range officers try to teach us the real way to handle those old guns!

I reckon they never heard of Elmer Keith and Ed McGivern or even Annie Oakley!

As for the ammo, a relative was able to secure a lifetime supply from the Czech Republic some years ago, it's of good quality.

engine block just arrived!

Signed and then noticed the big text on the package "open box and inspect package before signing"

  :D

Noticed the top of the crate/box had been removed once before, odd...

but all looks good.
I was surprised to find the block so dry and oil free.

Minor rust and water spotting, I might get one of those dingle berry hones depending on how it cleans up.

Dragged that fkn thing into my garage for now, i'll do engine block swap around on the stand later this week or weekend....
