If not for the hoe being broken, i would be headed to the property on this fine day.
I have my old ass luger fully gone through with fresh springs through out.

I have never fired one of these, I always wanted one though. :)
And i have a nice little collection of WW2 and WW1 era pews

The Luger is my first German from that era.

The luger is more of a WW1 era that got caught right during the treaty of versailles where germany was banned from making arms.
So this baby was stamped into military, and then stamped into Police use (one of the few loop holes).

This one has a cool story, and was featured in a book...
Bought this one with the idea of "like silver or gold (investment), but i can take it to the range and enjoy it".

Kinetic store of value assets. I love it! :)

Well PC offers a nice program to upgrade the head unit and Whipple offers a 2.9L.

Plus the PC weighs less, less wiring and no additional coolant/cooling system.

The other perk is I can install with my current LMG (cathedral port) motor and still use it after I build my iron block LSA with rec port heads.

Side note. Talked with my tuner after the dyno about the cost effective way to build my L96 6.0. Settled on this option, bore it to a 6.2 and use new OEM LSA rods and pistons while keeping the OEM crank since it's been proven to be good up 1000whp.

So instead of a $6000 build it will be more like $3500. And will take 15psi all day long and run great on E85

If you want to go for it. I’m definitely saying you don’t have to spin the balls out of the 2650 put the largest pulley on and turn it less for less heat. I’ve already seen how hot the lsa can get last night in 60 degree weather.

This another reason I want to go with a Procharger.........less heat soak.

Driving the Denali down to New Orleans with the family till the 3rd.

Loaded down with the 4 of us, luggage, cooler, and snacks and getting 13 mpg average on E85 with the AC on and doing between 80-85 mph. Also hit this milestone....lol 00c980eb32e30efe5f8485db58fab1ba.jpg

Couldn't find E85 stations on way down here, so 93 octane gave me 14.6 mpg average. Also noticed if I stayed below 80 mph it would creep up to 15 mpg average. So E85 gives about only a 2 mpg decrease, but I sure can feel the difference in power especially when getting up to speed entering the highway.

Finished assembly of the all new dash panels. I’d been waiting for the new head unit to arrive so I could place the GPS antenna and hands free microphone while it was all open.

Stuck the first piece of Dynamat inside a rear door. :waytogo:
An instantly discernible difference.

Love the feel of a luger in my hands, cool piece, overly complex. My great-grandfather brought home from WW1 a 1914 Broomhandle Mauser that is still in the family and is fired once a year. Fun stuff.

Broomhandle is next on my list.

Originally i was going to get an earlier example in .30 luger, but freedom seeds in that cal became impossible to find.
Mostly i wanted a nice example for as little $$.

This one cost me a bit more, but it's a much better investment.

As for the way it feels, so for a modern grip like i was trained for.
The luger is weird.
I was taught to grip the pew in a straight line with my arm.
The luger seems to like a different grip...
Still figuring it out, however it feels best with a one handed hold.

Made for a shooting style from another time.
