Went to the shop to try and get the rear pinions seal done........2 techs were out because they might have been exposed to the Rona over the weekend. So I will just wait til later in the week.

engine block just arrived!

Signed and then noticed the big text on the package "open box and inspect package before signing"



Noticed the top of the crate/box had been removed once before, odd...

but all looks good.
I was surprised to find the block so dry and oil free.


Minor rust and water spotting, I might get one of those dingle berry hones depending on how it cleans up.

Dragged that fkn thing into my garage for now, i'll do engine block swap around on the stand later this week or weekend....

I got pictures of the cam bearings in my build thread.
THey look bad, but not bad enough to justify how much metal was in the oil...
And metal in everything!!!

it has to be the cause... but wtf.
