i tried that. i dunno...i got gas this morning after i did all this and it hasnt come back. who knows. my sierra ALWAYS threw the 449 code when the weather was between 35-50* with similar humidity but yeah...who knows and im just gonna drive it til it does it again

emergency root canal for the win.
spent the weekend in agony.
dentists didn't give a shit since it was Saturday.

emergency place had pity on me, gave me something for the pain.
It Helped a little.

Apparently i was trying to get the wife to drop by a dealership for a new truck on the way home from the dentist.


The entire day yesterday is a blur.

Bought these and put one on my catch can for a drain. Meh, not impressed. Just feels cheap and looks un-automotive. I don’t like them even tho they will work. Might go to something different.

Mine came with one, and it does look out of place. I might hit with some flat black to help.

So i went to scan my code this morning, that was...interesting. I dont know if its because the code reader or what but it started to freak out at it being plugged in, went to 'service traction control' 'service stabilatrack' messages, and didnt find any codes. I tried cycling it on/off a few times and reading it more but same thing. I decided well, i will just try a different scanner. But apparently opening and closing the door which turned on and off the accessory power cleared everything and the truck is fine.....sure....why not.

Damn BCM electrical gremlins!

I have one with threads on both ends. I like it a lot better than the pos petcock it came with. Seems fine to me. Old pic.. this was at install.

Looked like you had a thread, and then a barbed end for tubing attachment. I wasn’t sure if you had attached a tube to it, or plan to.

One end is threaded and one is a barb. No hose but I did put a cap on it. Just in case it comes open for some reason.
