Finally got around to messing with this AC again. Was able to break the bolt loose with the help of some vice grips holding the clutch. This is what I’ve found... not sure how much needs to be replaced. I’m thinking the compressor is fine and it’s just the clutch.

Just buy a new compressor. Nothing worse then changing the clutch only to have the compressor fail a month later…
New oil, new receiver dryer, fresh Freon going into summer… it’s a worthwhile investment.
