Happen to have a link to that book?

And i have a wideband for my vette, the innovative 2 one.
Got it for a great deal on Amazon years ago.
Was a sealed box return, little more than 50% off.

I have spent way more than that in o2 sensor replacements since then.
Seems to be a common complaint.

I'm thinking about grabbing the aem one vs gutting it from the vette.

I also want the gauge as a reference.

Only thing holding me back is that i need a second o2 sensor **** on one of the sides.

And that means the y pipe needs to come off for my welder.

I think the gauge will also help me think in lambda... lol
I really am hesitant about having another hole in the exhaust. I've danced around this with the avalanche since I started it the first time. I really want to learn the narrowband method but I'm really struggling.

I'm the type of person that when I don't understand it, I have a real problem paying attention. I wish I could sit down with someone and go over the basics, like, in person. I've watched all (most) of GRG videos but I feel like he jumps between platforms too much (gen 3 and gen 4).

Once you get the hang of it, I may have some questions. BTW, I've put 1500 miles on the avalanche on the stock tune (I changed the idle and other things for the trans and convertor but fueling and spark is stock)

He mentions that narrow band tuning is a pita and time consuming.
You can become a patron and get some tuning help, but he says he won't even go into it if you don't have a wideband setup.

I'm taking heed and going that route.
I'll mess with the narrow band at first, but my plan is to just do the wideband.

And i ******* my self with those afr heads i think.
My main concern now will be that i don't run it lean.

ETA: start with the tuning 101 series
he mentions that the vids covering the gen 3 also applies to a bunch of it, and he covers lots of basics there.
I'm still getting there myself, i'm just now starting to get a basic handle on how it works.

my ebl flash was way easier. :D
