Took the Hoe to a local shop for an oil change today (I do my own at home but we’re on a road trip). As I write this there’s four guys under the Hoe :dogpile:

I don’t know if it’s a training session, or if they’ve never seen a lifted Tahoe before…

Hopefully not discussing what they just broke!

Yup, i would have wandered on out to see what the hubbub is.

You don't want surprises later.

But with me, i have had some really bad experiences... lol

And i changed the oil filter...

Yup pan is coming off.

Bets if it was the high flow oil pump sucking air because of too much flow?

Possibly ran a crank or rod bearing dry...

I'm just hoping it's not a cam bearing, and that i don't have to pull the engine. :(

My goal this weekend is to powerwash the under side and get the hoe up on jack stands.

Got some good rain the last few days, noticed a puddle of sand from my property forming in the garage.

So i need to get the undercarriage as clean as possible.

I hate getting dirt in the eyes, ears, nose, and mouth when working under a vehicle.

Where I take my Yukon year round means I never get it totally clean underneath. I pressure wash it occasionally and always use the car wash that has a double undercarriage spray setup.

When I recently did my O2 sensors, it was like walking into a sandstorm. I started with safety glasses and ended up with monogoggles over them. You think you can reach up and not rub anything causing the shower of sand...

put in 25 gal of mid-grade @3.91 on a 7-11 app special, best price around, lol price gap between stations around here is .91 cents
costco has premium @4.09 best price
87 is @3.85 also at 7-11 best price
no corn around here, although one station in the next town supposedly has 1 pump but never go up that way.

Not bad for Cali. I paid $3.87 for 87 E10 at Costco yesterday. Here, the only close E85 pump the guy just sets the E85 price at what Costco is selling E10 87, so other than when I am dicking around with my virtual Ethanol content sensor errors, it makes no sense whatsoever to buy E85.

I suspect if they were making E85 out of potatoes, it would be everywhere here and cheap... :)

Looks like they're planning a Pearson station...blue stations are supposed to be exhausting.

Propel is no where near though.
