Using the DIC mine will display the actual pressures. They match a good gauge pretty well.
Thanks! One more project for the winter. I suppose it’s too much to expect it to display all four at once… is that right?

I suppose I’m spoiled by my newer vehicles with all the bells and whistles. Of course all that tech is the first thing to give trouble. Nothing like cranking up your new toy with 360 cameras and getting a screen with “camera system unavailable”. First world problems LOL.

displays 2 at a time, if you get a maestro rr and a good head unit it will show all 4 at once on the headunit.

Yeah, if you plug in the DIC buttons, you can access that menu without doing anything else. My SSV didn't have any of those fancy menus until I got the buttons and plugged it in.
Exactly. The harness is there, just add the switch.

For thecopcar I bought a trim piece with DIC on eBay for $60. Of course it was wood grain. No big deal for my Utility vehicle. Flat black fixed that.

For theothertwin I went a different route and bought a new DIC for $25. Then carefully cut the trim to fit it. A bit of gorilla glue secured it.

Woohoo! That’s an option I hadn’t even considered, although I sort of knew it was out there when I did my research for the head unit. And I’ll be going back in there anyway to replace this POS Pioneer, so that’s the plan.

Might as well do the DIC / maestro/ head unit all at once and then I’ll be golden.

Keep an eye out at your local pull-a-part. My LKQ has had a couple (literally, two) of GMT900s in the past month. I scored some spare trim pieces and a non-Denali forward bin for about $50.

My LKQ honey hole/happy place inexplicably closed down about a year ago. Didn't even say "good bye" :sad72:

There's another decent yard in the next city over, but their prices are kinda high. I do better vulturizing the trucks being parted out on Marketplace. I just haven't found any that the trim pieces weren't trashed by the time I find them. If I find a good interior, I should be able to get all of them for $100, tops.

Once Jenn gets another car, my Tahoe will be off the road, so there's no reason why I couldn't take my time to paint or wrap the original pieces. That'll all happen long before I find time to go browse a salvage yard.

*sigh*
The good ol' days...

Yeah, it's pretty handy actually. Especially after I added the steering wheel buttons and programmed the RR to bring that screen up with one of them.

It's also handy to figure out whether or not the tire place reprogrammed the TPMS when they rotated the tires....or not, in my case.

That's funny. My closest LKQ used to be a locally owned business. When LKQ bought them, the prices doubled on most things. And they started charging for EVERY LITTLE THING. I can't walk out with so much as a hose clamp. The old guy gave that stuff away. And the old owner offered a $20 annual membership instead of the $2 per trip cover charge (which LKQ raised to $3). So I think LKQ is high.
