so i went in for 3 different things.

1. The air bag issue
2. I get a ticking noise when i start it up in the morning.(the can’t recreate the issue) but they said 2 of my spark plugs were loose.
3. The vibrating steering wheel and seat issue. One of the senior techs said he won’t look at the truck at all cause it’s lowered and has aftermarket parts. I told my advisor that’s unacceptable and a cop out cause you can look over the oem parts and if that is causing the issue, it should be looked at. I gonna have a chat with the service manager and express my concerns cause they def trying to pass the buck.

My original Honda dealership pulled that crap, for aftermarket wheels of all things… nothing ridiculous.. a +2 wheel, on 100% stock suspension. Needless to say, those clowns didn’t see me or my vehicle ever again. **** that kind of attitude.

Is my 2013 suburban subject to the steering shaft clunk issue. I have a light clunking when turning the wheel. Searching didn’t result in much info. Is there a lower column bearing?
I don’t believe that lower column bearing is an issue in the GMT900. I have a clunk in mine, felt when hitting irregular road surfaces, which I thought was a worn universal at the bottom of the column where it meets the rack, but it’s not. It’s the bushing on the passenger side of the rack itself where it’s bolted to the frame.

I looked under the dash at the base of the column on mine. the shaft has some slight wiggle and is the source of my clunk. i can hear it when I accelerate form a stop and when turning the wheel at slow speeds. Not high on the list of things to deal with for me.

Drove it for the first time in a week or two... or three. Took it to our parish's annual hazardous materials collection day. Hauled off four broken flat panel TVs that I originally was gonna use for target practice, a car tire and five gallons of used motor oil.

How contradictory: I went to a place to properly dispose of hazmat items to reduce environmental impact as the 15MPG I burned was being expelled, unfiltered.

Mr. Nukem,

Which pads did you buy? Still can’t figure out which pads to get for my front calipers.
I buy the autozone premium ceramic, that's what I have on there now, when the new rotors show up I can take the old pads over to autozone and get free replacements under there lifetime warranty. I originally put the police semi metallic pads on there and they lasted me about a year, the premium ceramic have been on there about 2 years. I am very ******* brakes nothing last longer than the premium ceramic they would probably last a normal person much longer.
