any recommendations for a battery powered impact that can do lug nuts off & back on?
I like bang for the buck stuff so brand name doesn't matter but not trying to go for harbor freight either unless it's one of the rare reliable tools
I usually use air tools but something portable may come in handy in the future.
Milwaukee M18 High Torque Works like a charm on the truck & the car

That’s a smoking deal. I have been impressed with my Ridgid cordless tools since I bought them many years ago. I currently have the 1/4” impact and it’s strong. I also use their 3/8” drill and skill saw. They’re probably 8-10 years old and all the batteries are still good even. Plus they’re lifetime warranty so if they stop charging they’ll replace them. I see they still advertise that. I was looking at going with the Milwaukee M18 line but it’s expensive to switch over. I was looking at that 1/2” impact of theirs and it’s $250 but one single battery is $150 and then you need a charger. So… I just bought this Ridgid combo. Thanks for the heads up guys.

I looked at the option of store pick-up and saw the batteries wouldn’t be there until the 2nd-5th but they could deliver the whole shebang by the 1st so figured wtf. I’m sure as hell not making 2 trips. I’m not sure if my current 18v Ridgid batteries will work with it. It would be nice if they do.
