I used to have 3-4 cars all the time, no particular reason why other than I like to drive different things sometimes, there is a local guy that lien sales older late 90's early 2000 cars cheap on CL often he was ghost for a bit but seems to be back at it now, both him and the junkyard and tow yards sell car's in the sub $2k to low $2k range I might grab something just because I paid the truck off and it will be something to fiddle with.

Wife mentioned getting a little gas mileage car for her little trips into town.

I told her that was her old saturn, i wanted to donate my s10 instead of that car to her sisters boyfriend because of the 260(ish)hp and 30mpg it gets.

Her sister did mention interest in trading for my s10, except it technically needs a transmission.
OD disabled via tune in order to let it live...

Then i saw what he did to the inside of that saturn...
Yeah i don't want it back.
Ever.

Back when i used to commute, i loved having a choice of what to drive.

Too often i selected the corvette.
But then apparently a few snowflakes would feel offended or threatened.

Some (2) neighbors didn't like to hear its awesome fire up at 5am... lol

Those commutes were really good for the fueling learns/tune.
And i miss tearing up the freeway onramps.

Kept it interesting having something fun to drive.
Tried to only use it thursdays and fridays... but then monday would roll around...

I suspect if i had the tahoe back then, it would get most of the commute duties.

It's the most comfortable vehicle i have ever owned.

Eta: it also helped that the vette gets 26mpg if i stay off of the go pedal and use cruise control often.
Bad part, it's an 84 with the Z51 package.
They tested it on a race track and had 0 thought about streets.
I call it the go-cart.
It feels like my organs move when i hit bumps. Lol

My weight-gain adventure began well-before Covid. I was working three part-time jobs per week, then one full-time & two part-time jobs, then just one full-time & one part-time job, which kept me pretty fit. (Worked part-time at UPS the whole time.).

Once I dropped down to the full-time office job I started to notice how much more beer I could drink after working a regular 8-10 hour day with an entirely free night to myself. Plus ice cream.

Beer and ice cream? What a terrible combination. :word:
