ya I recently replaced the sd card in the wifes pioneer deck, unfornutely when you do that it has to be factory reset the old card is ***** junk, they fail just like hard drives. her's was not a navigatiion unit so not sure if the gps data would be affected or not, you might be able to replace the software sd card boot up and retrieve gps cordinates before resetting it, if you do not reset it then it's like a frankenstien job
if you carry a android phone you can go into google maps and hit the menu button and look at your location history it may have the gps data as well even if there is no cell service.

Ty for that, I wasn't sure if there was anything else that needed to be done after the sd card.

As for the location,
Yeah, I have them saved in a file...
When I did the location find last time, I used my phone to locate it.
the pita part was it wouldn't give me turn by turn directions, so to find the "way points" I created, I need to look at the screen.

In order to even find the land, I needed to use the county maps then side by side with google maps I located the property using land marks.
Luckly the county maps showed a satellite image view, then I lined up roads and trees to find the 4 corners + the trails that lead to it.

This time around, at least I mostly know the landmarks.
I'm sure there is some way to search gps cords and then save them on the radio beforehand. :think:

I switched to battery and will never go back. Once an affordable rider is available, I'll switch to that as well.

I went with makita on the yard tools. The trimmer and blower I have are awesome. I think the milwaukee are supposed to be a touch better. These work out a little cheaper, especially with the 4 battery deals.

I like my gas powered tools.
I also modify them for more powar!

Usually, I start with the exhaust since home owner trash is usually pretty restrictive.
Once you have that opened up, then you can start adding fuel.
There is always a limit.
First will be of course how much exhaust can exit, then how much fuel the carb can supply...

Then you run into fun things like nitro methane...
I add just a few ounces to a 2 gallon can, then I also up the amount of two stroke mix.
Lots of heat generated, so there is a limit.

then you get to find the sweet spot.
bad thing is, my mix changes slightly every time.
And over time the NM likes to degrade.

RC car fuel with NM won't quite mix right + you add alcohol with that crap.
So, the fun part is to find somewhere to buy pure NM...

Playing with rc cars,
I can get things like tuned exhaust pipes, I have an old one from my RC car that I'm saving so I can adapt it to my leaf blower. ;)

One of these days, I'm planning to play around with porting.
I'll probably start with the RC car, then do it to the leaf blower... :cool:

Took both Yukon XL's to the GMC dealer today to have the airbag recall performed (finally). First was in the morning and I just swapped them so they can do the 2012 in the afternoon. Seem to have plenty of capacity suggesting to me that they have techs sitting on the bench. Only 5 new vehicles in stock - all of them Buicks.

I've never needed more power with my riding mower, it does the job as-is

I don’t know how the landscaping companies are going to survive. There isn’t an electric solution that I know of that will run for the number of hours they need.

On another note, any word on how that new law about vehicles with a non-stock tune is affecting people with high performance tunes? Are you able to smog your vehicles or do you need to flash a stock tune in?
I don't have a stock tune file anymore, but i do have a hypertech tune and blackbear tune, balckbear used the hypertech file to make me a tune, so I just put it back to the hypertech and gave the smog guy the hypertech carb number and it smogged fine.

I am trying to find out for certain if the hood air inlet grill clips (the one's around the hinge at the edge of the front windows left/right)
can be swapped from pickup to suv, I am reading conflicting information online.

White Sierra and Black Yukon Wes, they are different if this is what you mean.
