We had the fire Marshall, the sheriff and the local PD cruising our neighborhood tonight, inspecting fireworks and citing people. Thanks governor!
we have been lucky about 3 years ago the fire department cruised thru about 10pm and told everyone to call it a night but that's it, far too may fireworks in this town it's going to be like a war zone, Sacramento has been cracking down hard with big fines but they don't have enough cops here to do all that we are about 40-50 officers below what they typically have they all leave to other places because this town doesn't pay much. they come work here to get enough experience and then leave

How’s it going Mark, still searching for a project car, Yukon and pickup still going strong?
Yeah, I’ve been doing some work on the house this year. I still don’t have a shop built so no room to work on a long-term project. Maybe one day but now’s not the time to build anything- the cost of materials is still sky-high. Plus my investments took a hit and it might be a minute before they come back. Patience is my mantra right now. I’m in no hurry.

Hahaha. They outlawed fireworks in Portland last year after all the wildfires in neighboring areas. And the other major city right across the Columbia River, Vancouver WA. But there’s zero enforcement. We don’t have enough police to cover normal stuff here, certainly not enough to deal with the INCREASE in fireworks that the ban caused. Tell people something is banned, then tell them there’s not enough police to do anything about it, and see what happens. It looks and sounds like a war zone out there tonight. Me and my dog just watched my neighbor and his kids light off a couple thousand dollars worth, and there were dozens of others all around us doing the same. Happy 4th!

Well, I finally went and rebuilt my flex fuel line adapter.
Didn't put it on yet.
But tried to do some tuning without it, and no matter what I did it was commanding like, 10.3afr. realized that was due to the virtual sensor failing and reading incorrectly, and then even when I updated the tune and told it there's a physical sensor, (despite not having it connected), it was reading zero but still apparently throwing an error and telling it to run super rich ...
So I'm going to try and redo all that testing once I put the physical sensor back in and really see what it does.
I should have known something was up when I saw the stock tune running as rich as it was. I don't remember ever seeing those numbers previously.

In other news, the trans has finally gotten real close to what it was previously. Starting to feel real good and firm again. Haven't retuned the trans, just writing calibrations to the E(P)CM.
