I've kept my keys like this forever. No weight on the ignition, and I prefer to keep the fob in my pocket at all times

I keep mine separate as too. Thecopcar, thethirdtwin, and everything else. The everything else keys stay in my pocket always, unless I’m unlocking something.
Been getting a passenger side cat code so swapped left/right 02 sensors just to see.... Otherwise already got the edited tune from blackbear to turn off the code, or the sensors however they do it. 8 hour drive today for fireworks so if it's going to throw a code it will

For decades I have only had the ignition key and the fob for each vehicle.

Replaced my factory water pump and upper/lower hoses. 17 years old and was doing fine. We are headed to Ohio in July and I just felt it was time. Didn't want it to crap out while on the trip.
Made it to the candy store
