I had the same problem with mines. The 194 LED's didn't work even after turning them 180. They worked fine for license plate bulbs, but nothing in the mirrors. Put the stock ones back in.
By chance when you installed the puddle lights were you parked in daylight? Put a book or magazine over the sun load sensor on the dash to trick bcm into thinking it's dark, then using your key fob unlock to turn on the perimeter lighting to install them so you can get the polarity right.Replaced my puddle lights with leds. They don't work even when I reverse the bulbs. Even the original ones didn't work after a while.

2007 yukon xl DenaliIs this on Yukon or Tahoe? Did you use standard housing? It does not look like there is a scatter, but just want to make sure that there is no scatter in the beam?

Stock housing.
You can adjust the beam to match the current bulb to help fix that.
