I've got 3 cracks. 2013 Suburban at 23K miles. Hate it, but no other issues, so I just look past it. So much heat and we even use a windshield shade. Going to get the windshield tinted as well soon hopefully to help out with the UV to the interior.

I really believe the problem is the plastic it's made from- it's too brittle and sensitive to extreme temps and there's a huge area that's unsupported. Could also be that what the dash is mounted to flexes during more spirited driving, putting stress on the plastic. They pretty much all break in almost the exact same places. I think the ones that haven't broken yet are because the car was parked mostly inside and the person drives it like a grandma or it's in an area with decent roads and/or mild climate.
