Columbus, mic dropAww, c'mon! Be a pioneer! Be the first and only to never have a broken dash. Everyone's dash's days are numbered. Defy the physics and put a ***** in the history books for something good for once!
Columbus, mic drop
I used some black PlastiDip to cover up the water damaged gold bowtie. I feel like I should have explored using the glossifier along with the matte black, since everything else on the truck is glossy/shiny, but even the change to black really cleaned up the look.
I also removed the dealer plate on the front bumper. I need to also remove their sticker on the rear of the vehicle. No more free advertising for them.
Before and after, front and rear.

Get off my land then ******...
When you look at the center of the dash, there is so much play, it vibrates like crazy and that thin strip in front of the passenger airbag just does not have enough support. Then of course whatever plastic was/is used. A well known and documented problem across the internet for sure, but not going to ruin my day at this point. Just bad design and execution, but could be a whole lot worse.
