We finally got a break in the weather. So I installed my new rear lighting. The tails are Esky profile. So I've got a pair of matching appliques on the way. But it doesn't look bad without them. The CHMSL is the kind that lights up all the way across. Truck is filthy. But I had to choose between installing the lights and washing the truck. No time for both today.

I mean, is there ANY benefit to the 2500s suspension?! I drove up to fort wayne yesterday (200 mi round trip), and pulled my 12k flatbed behind as I was intending on buying a motorcycle camper. It was just easier to haul it on the flatbed, though looking back it would have been cheaper to just buy a 4" drop tongue and 1 7/8" ball. The trailer is about 3k# + 700# tongue weight. I was hoping with some load on there, it would squish the suspension a bit and it wouldnt be so damn rough. I was wrong.

Even after getting home, I still felt the tossing around. It was nuts. Anyhoo, probably 45 bucks in fuel later, and I didn't even come home with it. The guy didnt have the title paperwork in order, as he had never titled it in his name. Sooooo, I went home empty handed, and hopefully they will reach out in a week or two once they get that done.

You pulled a 12,000 pound flatbed with your 2500 and got tossed around? Then mention a 3,000 pound trailer with a 1-7/8" ball? That ball at best is good for 3,500 pounds with no margin of safety.

I'm not reading something right Derick.
