So recently, I kinda started to accept reality that my harbor freight power tools were just garbage at this point. I bought them some years ago, not long enough to keep me from being pissed mind you, and they changed their house brand from chicago electric to bauer. Soooo, when I needed new batteries, I quickly found that my tools were useless. And I even spent the cash on a nice half inch impact gun....but now it will be lining the garbage can.

All that to say, I leaned into the Ryobi One+ line pretty hard. Fingers crossed they keep up their battery production and reasonably decent quality for DIYers. I got their psuedo (low) pressure washer thing;

and did some detailing today. Last night I did a honda civic engine bay, and then today I did the engine bay on the burb. I pressure washed it late last year, so it wasn't all that dirty. It does a good job for its very specific purpose. And that is, engine bays. That high pressure blast from a real pressure washer gets water where it shouldnt be. This is also nice because I can just take a bucket of water and it will siphon instead of needing a hookup. Anyhow, got a nice clean engine bay to get dirty with the upcoming power steering line replacement.

well crap, pro-tip if you ever go to remove the ceiling console, remove the 2 screws under the map lens and then pull down from the rear, not from the front
and of course the one I ordered to replace the broken map light button is a different color :mad::mad::mad:

Yeah. Had that in our 2007 and 2008. Can’t remember if the 2009 Suburban LTZ had it or not. Never used them.
it was removed because children were getting folded into the floor... possibly do to liability issues(they got sued)
