3/8 foam rope is what I used on my nbs. Sprayed wd40 and slid it in. It kind of resembles a pool noodle just 3/8 round.

Back when I had a trailblazer, they used 3/8” nylon rope to help the door seals keep shape and made em water tight for fording streams...

They're on backorder. But apparently they are trickling out. They questioned my order because the H3 mounts are handed, and I ordered two of the same part number. When I finally broke down and told them the truth, they were like "oh, okay". It took a few weeks, but they shipped.

It’s called backer rod, available at any hardware store, Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc. It’s normal use is backer for caulk joints.
