What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I’ve had mine in for 1500 miles or so and it’s bone dry...

my hoe was amazingly clean when i took it apart.
Worst looking part so far was in the intake side of the heads.
Cylinders/Pistons were amazingly clean, valves had crud but not too bad for the mileage.

I don't expect to catch much with mine, but should it pass any extra oil i'll know.
+ a good way to keep track of blow by and engine changes...


For the vette, i bounce that thing off of the rev limiter often (currently set @ 6k RPM)...
Of course, should i one day blow the engine in that thing, it's 383 stroker or LS swap time.

If you mean C4, then yes it is.

ETA: it's run off of an EBL Flash ECM.

I also have this addiction to air tools...
A few years ago i bought one of these "used" off of ebay for about $50 iirc.

The prior owner was kind enough to have the 1/4in adapter already converted to use standard hex bolts.
Making changing the mandrel cheap and easy.

Takes a bit of a learning curve since you can snap/strip the 1/4in mandrel very easy if the pressure is too high... lol

I have gone out of my way to find uses for the tool ever since.
Including rivnutting the back of my riding mower for a receiver hitch adapter.

Once complete, i accepted that i probably would have been better off with a through bolt and a nut on the back side, but it's so slick for something that I'll never remove.
Even riv nutted an oil pressure gauge mount...
why? because i can...



Expect some nice riv nuts for my catch can install.

Depending on the design of the catch can, that might be a reason why your not seeing anything.
want to make sure that any oil vapor has to work it's way into the intake, and keep in mind that it want's to stick to things like baffles and mesh.

My setup works very well in the vette.
Mesh at the bottom, valve cover side has a little tube that goes nearly to the bottom of the can and mesh.
The intake side is at the top.

baffles to mix up the air, alternating side to side as it rises.
And a screen at the top to hopefully catch anything else that makes it that far...

Not all catch can designs are equal, part of why i prefer an empty can that can be opened.
Allows me to play with it.

Man no amount of money will ever get me to do any work on a c4 corvette ever again. I redid the entire brake system on a 93 and a hard top since the vert top was shot. That lt1/4 is *****. The l89 was a better design. Got it running and sold it. Had a ZF too.
