Actually had to cut mine out of my last truck. [emoji2361]

So did I. I used a cut off wheel to cut the metal part in the hub hole. I'll be getting a replacement winch for it this year I hope. I hate running around without a spare. I know my luck will run out if I do.

That rubber flap is the worst!
Yup. I had no issues with the OEM one. The Eagle Eye one started working out of its groove in less than a week. I tried to glue it in at the ends because that's where it would first try to pop out. But I couldn't get it to stay. I removed the flap from my OEM wing and installed it into the EE one. But it wouldn't stay, either. So I've been running without ever since. The only consequence that I can see is that more dirt washes into the space between the hatch sheet metal and the weather seal. It doesn't leak, or seem to allow any more road or wind noise in. Still, I'd rather have the flap than not. The one I ordered comes with a flap. Hopefully it's in good shape, so I don't have to touch it.

So, I’m not sure what’s going on with my transmission. It seems to “grab and let go” repeatedly; almost like surging. This happens at low speed (5mph) and light throttle and when the trans is cold or been sitting for a while.

I’m at 138k miles. Only maintenance done to the trans was a full fluid replacement and filter change. It was not “backflushed”.

What joys await me?

Hopefully it just needs a TCC solenoid, pretty common fix
