Wife is trying to talk me into a Buick enclave for her.
Anyone know anything about em?

I'm looking at a slightly older one that my tech 2 will work with...
Maybe a 2011 or 12.

Googling around i'm not seeing anything about AFM, but some complaints about the cam phasers with the vvt (3.6l)...

Is it AWD? That will help with wheelspin versus the FWD version. I had an 07 then 08 Saturn Relay, loved them. Why two? You remember that washer fluid heater recall...

I've heard that the timing chains are weak and they commonly stretch and need replacing at really low mileages, like 20s-50s.

I have no personal experience with this other than helping a guy with a Camaro diagnose his.

Got done with the installation of a Tru-Cool 40k tranmission fluid cooler - it's a monster. Also plumbed in an ARB compressor in the front driver side battery tray since it was sitting empty. Air for tires no matter where I am now.

I'll try to remember to make some pix tomorrow in the daylight.

As promised - not much to see of the transmission cooler; the newer body work hides stuff far better than my 1995 Tahoe's but here's a couple of shots to give you a feel for how wide this thing is. That's the hood release lever in the foreground just for reference. I'm seeing transmission temps 35 - 50F lower than before on just my daily commute. Have a feeling I'll like towing a lot better now.

And, the shot of the dinky compressor that inflates tires like no tomorrow...

The compressor idea is cool. I've been pondering what to use the spare battery tray for. Only problem is you have to carry a pretty long hose to reach the rears. Still cool, though.

Probably a dumb idea...has anyone attempted to use the Autoride air suspension system as a compressed air source? I read that it holds 80psi.
