What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I’m getting annoyed by this rattle in the rear driver side door on the wife’s 2017 Burb. Any ideas what it might be? Do I need to just tear it apart and see? I haven’t pulled panels on a vehicle this new. How many clips am I going to break?

Replaced Skid Plate And flaking chrome good trim piece today (plus bunch of audio enclosure upgrades, deadening and wiring but that’s another story)

I got tired of looking at my busted skid plate and finally ordered a new one. 4 bolts to remove and replace with new one.

Not a why really, just a question of technique.
I guess if you want to go through a bunch of extra work just to be more comfortable? I mean valve springs are pretty easy to do with the heads in place. I can do them in a couple of hours or so. #7 & 8 cylinders are the only two that are a bit of a reach, the others are easy.

I think that's a splash shield. I don't think the plastic would hold up well as an actual skid plate.

Yeah not saving work at all pulling the heads. The head/block/bolt hole cleanup is an hours long job as is on it's own.
