Looks like one of GM’s proprietary connectors to me. I have done a lot of automotive electrical work and have never seen one. Maybe somebody else will be of more help.

What is that connector used for?

Rewiring with 1/0 gauge, anyone else run into this, under the fuse box. Whats name of this crimped end, so I can order to fit my 1/0 guage wire pls?

Nice! Definitely order a set of those eagle claws that @Rocket Man mentioned. I didn’t need them for my WeatherTech but I bought a set a while back just in case. I ended up using them on my wife’s Lincoln and they are pretty slick.
The one time I let someone else drive the Denali the RH side of the mat was used as a footrest, but with a little persuasion from my heat gun and some double sided tape to hold it temporarily it went back to shape. Other than that I haven’t had any complaints with my WeatherTechs like others have mentioned. Maybe they changed the process and are using cheaper materials now.

I've read if the Weathertech mats lose their shape, you could turn them inside out, let them sit in the sun for a day, and they'll go back to their original shape.

Do you recall how much coolant you ended up needing for the replacement? I know what the total capacity is, but also don't expect to need that much either.

I don't remember, but it was less than the total capacity I'm sure. But I also did new rad hoses, water pump right after that so I was able to catch the majority of the coolant and reuse it that time at least. Filtered it just to make sure nothing unwanted got by. I haven't done the heater hoses or the overflow hoses yet. They're still sitting in the back of the hoe.

This idea that Ethanol should be cheaper than gas is a false narrative, in my opinion, that has been created with heavy government subsidies due to wanting to encourage people to use it for the potential environmental benefits of burning ethanol. Corn is now right around $5.45/bushel and you get about 2.8 gallons of ethanol from a bushel of corn so that comes to about $1.95 in just the cost of the corn per gallon of ethanol. That would put a 42 gallon barrel of ethanol worth of corn (15 bushels) right at $81.75/barrel compared to $75.41/barrel of crude. Now, I know, there is a lot more that goes into it than just the cost of crude and corn, but it is a significant portion.

Now, don't get me wrong, I do believe that ethanol has it's place in today's world and that there are benefits to using it. I see some of them everyday with many of my farming friends getting better prices for the corn they grow.

You get about 19 to 20 gallons of gasoline out of a 42 gallon barrel of crude. So that $75 barrel of crude is now a $150 barrel of gasoline.

Silicone are nice, but expect to pay a pretty penny for them.

This whole engine is aftermarket, thats why its taking me so long to build, plus Im no gearhead, just learning. I don't want to replace this stuff, again, thats why I'm opting for silicone.

Do you have part numbers for the other hoses, by any chance? Mishimoto already sent the upper and lower, so looking for the other factory size hose clamps,pls? and TY

Short hoses and factory spring clamps from GM, Ford and Honda. The ones for the rear heater core (the two 1/2" that I trimmed down) had a slight leak which I'm quite sure is because they're not beaded. I threw on some regular worm gear clamps as a temporary solution.

I have the T pipes where did you find the dorman y pipe, no one seems to know what I'm talking about when I go into the auto parts store, either that or there too lazy to look it up!
