Parts of Jersey got it pretty good.

Yeah but you dodged the bullet though too right?

We had a delivery truck down in Seaside Heights that day, it was a white out there.

And we had another truck go down to Savage, MD and he came back with a flatbed full of snow lol.

Yeah, luckily I didn't get any snow. I'm 1 hr from Toms River and they got hit.

Looked at it forlornly wishing that I could get it out of my driveway. Then it dawned on me that I wouldn't have anywhere to go if I did.
We had a big storm hit the NW too, but it spared us down in the valleys. All the highways through the passes, interstates and state highways, as well as the Columbia River Gorge had to be closed.

the Sierra's are at 165% of snowfall for the year as of Dec 24th and a couple more smaller storms have hit since then and more coming Friday, and there was still 24,000 people without power PG&e is having to "snowshoe" into some places to restore power. It's like the wild west in some places not far from here and the idiots from the bay area want to run up there haven't heard of any "missing" in the headlines so far but it's bound to happen

If they took the 20 seconds to look up all coolant/heater hoses for your Tahoe, Dorman #626-553 would be one of the options. I had a 15% discount code in an email from Advance (Carquest), so I ordered it online with my phone while walking through a Walmart. I picked it up from their warehouse a mile from that Walmart half an hour later. If you Google "Advance Auto Discount", you'll find plenty of discount/promo codes. BTW, the current 15%-off code is "SNOW". They also have 20% off orders over $120, if you need more parts.

All of these stores in St. Pete show to have it in stock. I just picked one store of each chain. I'm sure other branches would have the same:

O'Reilly Auto Parts #4450
3350 3rd Ave. S
St. Petersburg, FL 33712
(727) 322-6218

"Pick Up In Store"- $49.99

Autozone #2445
200 34th St. S
St. Petersburg, FL 33711
(727) 323-4896

"In-Store or Curbside Pick Up"- $45.99

Advance Auto Parts #9536
5625 38th Ave. N
St. Petersburg, FL 33710
(727) 381-4701

"Store Pickup"- $46.99 ($39.94 with 15% code)

NAPA Auto Parts
1291 34th St. S
St. Petersburg, FL 33711
(727) 321-5454

"Pick up Tomorrow"- $47.99
But that's the plastic one with hoses. Im looking for a stainless steel y pipe

We just had a pair of young “snow campers” get rescued by the Coast Guard, they were stranded for 9 days in the Cascades. They were located by a ping on a cell phone but rescuers couldn’t get to them so the Guard flew in from the Coast. They built a teepee out of a tarp and tried to build a fire in it but said they couldn’t breathe. Probably forgot to leave a hole in the top. They must not have listened to the forecast which was calling for 6 feet of snow where they drove to. Luckily they had gas in their car, that’s where they were found.

They're very lucky.
