I like my gas powered tools.
I also modify them for more powar!
View attachment 370474

Usually, I start with the exhaust since home owner trash is usually pretty restrictive.
Once you have that opened up, then you can start adding fuel.
There is always a limit.
First will be of course how much exhaust can exit, then how much fuel the carb can supply...

Then you run into fun things like nitro methane...
I add just a few ounces to a 2 gallon can, then I also up the amount of two stroke mix.
Lots of heat generated, so there is a limit.

then you get to find the sweet spot.
bad thing is, my mix changes slightly every time.
And over time the NM likes to degrade.

RC car fuel with NM won't quite mix right + you add alcohol with that crap.
So, the fun part is to find somewhere to buy pure NM...

Playing with rc cars,
I can get things like tuned exhaust pipes, I have an old one from my RC car that I'm saving so I can adapt it to my leaf blower. ;)

One of these days, I'm planning to play around with porting.
I'll probably start with the RC car, then do it to the leaf blower...
So complicated. I put gas in, start them up, and do the work. Then I turn them off and out them away. I admit I like to modify big toys though. :head3:

ok thanks, I was just wondering because replacements for the pickups are 1/2 the cost of the suv's, mine is getting all brittle on the rubber part, maybe @Fast_AT4 could wip up some of the rubber part? so we could just replace it, the plastic part is fine
The rubber part looks to be molded in on mine.

I hear ya, mine were getting nasty and so they were replaced about two years ago. They were $37 each back then.

Flushed the brakes with Motul 5.1 using a motive power brake bleeder. Wasn't impressed with the bleeder. I didn't think it would be such a slow process.
Slow? Are you sure you used it right? I just fill up the Motive, connect it to the MC, and pump it up. Then go to each caliper and open the bleeder. It flows as fast as pressure allows without blowing the seals in the MC which is in the directions but I can’t recall. What pressure did you pump it up to?

I don’t know how the landscaping companies are going to survive. There isn’t an electric solution that I know of that will run for the number of hours they need.

Corded 110VAC tools on a generator. :p

Or, since it's Commiefornia, they'll force those companies to buy F-150 Hybrids with Pro Power Onboard.

it's the piece that goes around the hood hinge at the bottom of the windshield, it's plastic but part of it is rubber like, I thought the rubber part was glued on but it looks more like it changes from plastic to rubber-ish, this is the top side bottom has 3 clips, left & right are different shape

10-15psi. I was lazy so i did it with the wheels on. Maybe i didn't crack the screw enough to let more flow
