Does anybody remember who made the cheap trans pan with a drain plug?
I don't know what you meant by "cheap". But the ones I've found on eBay are $80-90. I would not consider that cheap! I'm following this because my new transmission is approaching break-in fluid change, and I want to take the opportunity to install a pan with a drain.

I put this one on both my trucks, surprised they are in stock, normally they are 3 months back ordered
nice pan, adds 2 quarts capacity. presuming you have the 6 speed.

Just saw a video about adding a "Current Gear" PID to the TorquePro app, so I did that and just verified that it works.

Yeah, I should have specified 6l80 pan. Because I can find 4l60 pans all over the place.

Does your aluminum pan hang down lower and that's how it adds 2 quarts?
I'm afraid of getting a lower hanging pan that's also aluminum when I go off-roading I'd hate to crack it and dump the fluid rather than a seal pan that would just bend hopefully.

Cheap, yeah I was thinking there was one that someone found for under 60 bucks or so, but that's not cheap compared to the 4L60 pans that go for like $30.
That said, I'd be cool with $100. But anything above that and I might as well just weld in a bun when I pull the pan off next time and add my own drain/plug.

Is it something that lives in your OBD2 port, or is it something you flash and then can remove?
