SunlitComet, you should change both oil cooler lines to be on the safe side while you are under there. I got both of mine from amazon 2 or 3 years ago for $80.
well the lower just arrived and the upper house brand one seems to still be good. got to call rock auto because I expected to have the o-rings in a bag with the oil line. instead the line came by itself with packing or o-rings but with just a delco label. all other lines i have bought have had seals and packaging. since rotors are here now I think a will stop at a shop to have the brakes done. don't have the floor jack and stands at the hotel with me.
cracked rotors and pads replaced along with one caliper. using cryo rotors this time.

oh and it initially appears my power steering pump is leaking again after 2 years. I am thinking there is something amiss with its mounting system. replaced the oem 2 years after i did the head work where the mountings had to come off.
Installed a new brake booster and NBS master cylinder...... Next step is to put on the drilled and slotted rotors, ceramic pads, new calipers and SS braided brake lines....
new front brake rebuild completed on saturday. below is what remained of the last package but also shown were another set of sd pads that went on again this time. I forgot to get pics of new rotors but only change was the new ones were cryo'ed. let see how well they hold up to my habits. i ran these ones down to the ground while trying to get the new rotors. they had some judder issues and i was going to resurface them when i found the cracks.
I'm considering putting it up for sale. It's a great rig, but I think I want to move to a newer model with the 5.3 or even a truck with a 6.0 for better towing. Not sure yet; I change my mind quite a bit.
