I jumped in and drove her around after not driving for like 5-6 days. Love her. Nothing I care to worry about right now. Tim drove her and said the suspension/steering is garbage. I do have a stabilizer I bought but have to find time to do it. Thankfully the boat is done. And only 11 weeks left of my Masters program.

I just received the upper air box housing.

Hoping to get started in on taking the dash out for the fix this weekend. I'm not sure if I should just replace the evaporator while I'm that far into it or not. What's everyone thoughts on that?

Is your system currently working? If it's not, yes, make sure you evacuate everything and replace that. If the system is working fine, don't touch it. LOL

Well...

Part of it is. LOL

The rear AC blows cool air, not cold. And the front just blows warm to hot air so I'm not sure if I have a mixing issue or what on that front.

Hello!
In the warm season, there was not enough cooling for the power steering system. After active movement with intense steering, the steering wheel became very tight.
Maybe this was due to the width or size of the wheels.
And maybe the insufficient performance of the elements of the hydraulic booster system
Changed the pump to a model for a diesel base 2500 .....
I bought from America Remanufakturing AC Delco Professional steering gear .... for $ 500. By the way, disgusting quality and assembled from improper components. The shaft with the torsion bar was not from this model of the steering gear.
I am disappointed!
In total, $ 500 for the wind and the steering gear in the form of unnecessary parts and useless scrap.
The old steering gearbox has received full service with a complete repair kit of oil seals, bearings, rings and more ....
And implemented in its rightful place.
By the way, my friend and, in combination, an excellent auto mechanic, said that if the problem persists, he will install a steering rack from Toyota Sequoia in my Suburban.
But, with the capture of Toyota, we decided to wait).
And, here, Mopar is dearer to us in religion)
So...
Captured a radiator from Chrysler (from Grand Cherokee) .....)))
As an additional cooler, he introduced it into the power steering system.
Used Gudear hoses.
General understanding in the photo.
Now everything is fine and the steering wheel is light in all driving modes.
P.S. If the Google translator makes you laugh and mislead, then this is only his fault)))

Cleaning it while you’re in there will help if it’s dirty. The rear uses a separate evaporator over the Rear passenger wheel. More likely condenser and/or drier if pressure holds. Worth having a shop look at it first if you’re gonna tear the dash out to confirm.

I'm already going to be tearing into the dash to replace the upper box prefer anyways since I have broken flaps. As for a shop I wish I could afford that expense of checking out out first.

Washed her for the first time in maybe a year??? My boss is retiring tomorrow so we are doing a honk and holler parade. I'm sure they'll put me at the end, most of them have electric cars (lawyers). But she looks great when she is still wet.

I also sold my old dash and bumper yesterday. Got two fenders and a door left so it is definitely looking less like Sanford and Son in my backyard

Very nice looking ride!

When I was looking for my first Tahoe/Yukon I was hopping for a 2dr with the barn doors but they just don't exist in my neck of the woods. Then Panda showed up at my local Walmart parking lot for $600 with known issues from a very honest seller. I picked her up and am slowly making her whole again with upgrades planned sprinkled in here and there as I can afford.
