Pulled my old oak floor out of the Yuk and put in 7/8in foam floor tiles and covered it in indoor/outdoor carpet. cfa213dc9b35f0fc5c5953d5a6a748df.jpg7773410a1fc5a05107a7aa9d131e2c9b.jpg

What for?! I always thought the wood was anaawesome mod.
Yea I like it too it’s good for durability but in September me and the wife are heading to Colorado to camp for a couple weeks so I wanted it comfortable to sleep on without buying a bunch of stuff to take up more space. And it’s lighter by about 40lbs now. I’ll probably do something similar after the trip, just wanted to work through different possibilities

Not today but in the past two weeks I dropped the fuel tank and replaced the fuel pump module with the new Delphi unit and did a tune up with AC Delco everything: cap, rotor, ignition module, ignition coil, spark plug wires and Rapidfire spark plugs.

This weekend I will hopefully do the engine oil cooler delete along with an oil change. Current cooler adapter and one of the lines is leaking oil bad. I had already replaced the lines about 40K miles ago.

Did the engine oil cooler delete. One of the hoses had a leak as did the adapter itself. I had replaced the lines and a new gasket at the adapter about 40K miles ago, didn't want to deal with it again. I look forward to replacing my filter next oil change and not getting oil all over the place.

Also put new LEDs in the license plate housings, both were burnt out.

Thursday afternoon coming home from work the tranny started slipping bad. Got home, it was a quart and a half low. Checked under the truck and the dang rear output shaft seal is leaking again. Replaced it about five months ago. Ordered a new one and the bushing that goes in there too. That will be the hubby's project on Saturday. Also need to replace some caliper pins, replaced one side but it pulls hard to one side when braking so that is on the list. Going to get my dash swapped out finally Easter weekend and replace the heater core since it's been deleted and figure out if the a/c switch is bad or if it's a compressor deal. Starting to heat up in Florida so I'll need it cool in the truck.

Usually a seal fails because the bearing it is protecting is failing, might want to look into that.
