there are still chips for the '95 units but did you not say in another thread your are dropping in a '96 vortec system?

I saw that too. I went back and reread. It says you dropped an engine from a '98 in your tahoe. Did you maintain the '98 vortec fueling system and transfer the electronics over with it or did you just buy a vortec style intake and bolt your tbi unit to it?

I'd like to get a BB tune on my 99 not to hijack but has anyone seen true consistent mpg improvement? Really don't want to sell her .. But it's looking that way if I can't help this mpg a bit..
You have a TBI motor, just start searching google for TBI mods. Lots of info out there.
What kinda mpg do you want? You aren't going to get much better than 13 city/17 highway mpg out of a 5000lbs SUV with a 50 year old engine design.

I missed that part.
It could probably use some tuning as it is right now.

quick search says you need a different manifold for vortec heads and tbi.
