What Flowmaster to get?

I got dual 40 Series flows on the '77. It drones but I love it especially on a nice day when all the windows are open. The wife, however, hates it The youngsters are getting used to it, though I'd rather they get used to that and like that than ricer mufflers a lot of kids like nowadays ()

I looked on Flowmaster's website, 50 series doesnt seem aggresive like how i want it. my magnaflow isnt doing its job anymore. not really loud to me anymore. (prolly cause of the cracks) should i do 40 series and dump?

IMO, it sounds really good but you will have interior drone inside your Yukon. It really bothers some people so just be aware of that. At idle, the 40's put out a nice rumble and at cruising speeds it sounds really nice but at between 35 - 45 mph the drone is really evident. Just be aware of that. The 50's do well but are just a quieter (i.e. more tame) muffler. When I get around to doing the exhaust on the Burb I will get something more like the 50 series or magnaflow because of it being a family hauler and the wife being the primary driver of it.

its usually just me or me and my girlfriend. so prolly just end up going with 50 series. My guy will give me input when i put it on hopefully this weekend.

Turn downs prior to the rear. Yours are going straight out the back so a large amount of the sound is dispursed at the rear of the vehicle. Dumps/turn downs are usually placed somewhere below the vehicle either before the rear axle or just after the rear axle and it's pointed at the pavement. Makes interior noise much louder especially with 40's...
