What Flowmaster to get?

Flowmaster is one of the worst flowing mufflers. I'd look into cbe, Slp, Dynomax, anything straight through

i`m surprised it took so long for someone to post this ********.

It`s true that other straight through mufflers flow better and you may gain one or two extra horsepower which you will never feel.

Flowmasters flow just fine, My catback was my first mod on my yukon and i could feel the difference it made over the stock muffler.

I`m not knocking other brands, just the myth that flowmasters don`t flow well.

Yeah, I was hoping to avoid that "argument" and I agree with you There may be a difference in how each flows but on a largely stock motor (which 98% of us have) you will feel no difference in how flowmaster flows compared to Magnaflow compared to Borla compared to..... We're not driving 1000 hp race cars here where that type of stuff actually makes a difference....

Biased sites that are anti-flowmaster and then if you go to flowmaster sites they'll say the exact opposite. I believe this "argument" goes on with every car or truck forum I'm a part of

Like 07 burb stated, Most of our trucks are lightly modded and have nowhere near the 370 WHP the vehicle has that was used in the test.

I have had Flows on all my trucks and I don't go by horsepower gain, I go by how it sounds and for the money its a good sounding muffler.
But it all depends on pipe size and length also what tip you run..

I saw on youtube a tahoe with a flowmaster coming out before the rear wheel..
