What is the battery of choice?

Unless you running a stereo for extended periods with the vehicle off, I would suggest the red top. You get more CCA than the yellow top and don't spend the extra money on the yellow top deep cycle which is unnecessary for most.

I don't see any mods in your sig that would suggest you need to even spend money on an optima. For at least ten years now I've been running Interstate batteries in my vehicles. Even one with a modest stereo upgrade and I have never had a single problem with them. Just my two cents.

Yes. I like odyssey, kinetic, and yellowtops though optima has fallen off a bit in the past few years.
