what tires to get

Ive got a 95 tahoe its got 99-01 denali/escalade rims on it with 245-75-16 so im looking for tires to replace there currently it has Firestone Destination A/T's on it there pretty good so im thinking about going with them or BFG Long Trail T/A's......does anyone have any other tire suggestions or advice and im looking for whatever tires i get to be A/T. Thanks for the help

I run the nitto terra grapplers which are a/t tires and they have been holding up extrememly well. Great grip and on lighter trucks you can get 60+k miles out of them.

Do a tire search.There are a gizillion threads that will come up naming brands, and thier advantages and disadvantages.

+1 For Nitto Terra Grapplers. Mine have been stellar so far. I'd go for 265/70/16. They're about $126 each online, so pretty much on par with the Long Trails, except they look much cooler and have better grip.

Thanks for the help guys, those nitto's look sick too, where did u find them for 126? I looked and lowest I found them was 154 and thats 265-70-16

I just googled them discounttires.com came up. I didn't check shipping with those guys and honestly I've never heard of them. Too bad summitracing doesn't have that size in stock.

Mickey Thompson Baja Claw radials... 285/75/16... 253 or somethin a tire if your lookin for something real aggressive lol. Believe it or not, they're not loud at all either. I have heard plenty of good things about nitto though, one of my buddys runs the Mud Grapplers. He says there the best tires he's bought.

Just a quick update im going with Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10 245/75/16, know a few people that have them and read some good reviews online its at A/T tire cheaper then bfg or nitto there 132ea but i get a 5% discount getting them put on sat ill let you guys know how I like them.
