Do you know the cost of an "Exhibition of Speed" ticket?
How about "Reckless driving" ticket? Impound fees? lawyers? skyrocketing Insureance?
Think twice before you race on the street, because you never know when mom and her 4 kids in a minivan might get in your way. Try living with that the rest of your life. Keep it on the track...Please.

I'm sorry I have upset a couple of you on here. Didn't mean to make it into something. I know how to be safe, I'm not taking a daggon tahoe to the track! LOL I know there are others on the road, this is on straight country roads at 5am. Nobody but me and another guy. It's to have fun with, the same reason people buy mustangs and corvettes, not to take it to the track every weekend, but to have fun on the back roads. I don't want to make you think I'm going out through the middle of town flying through intersections or 35mph zones. These other gentlemen on this site that are doing engine swaps and shooting NOS, i really doubt they're taking it to the track to race. And if they are, that's not the only place they're racing around!

Sunlit, I've always loved the sound and power a supercharger can bring, but i know there's more to it than just the bolt on s/c! What needs to go on there to compensate for twice the power? Do you know of anywhere that will have a s/c for obs?

Can usually find them on Craigslist or ebay but you really have to look. there are components that interface with the computer for needed adjustments. a complete kit would have all the parts and there was an option for an extra injector or two that mounted on the intake of the SC for a bigger jolt.

S/C are rare to come by and if u do, they are damn expensive and still need work... Plus tuning... A 383 Stroker rebuild plus the S/C will put u ahead... If u plan on spending $3 to $4K all said and done... Its just not very practical... A 5.3 or 6.0 swap with a S/C or Turbo might be just as expensive but easily capable of 500+HP...
