i would want the pods they make for our doors with kicker components 2 sets in the front and 1 set in the back... a kicker zx650.4 on them... put one set of the tweeters in the pod and one on the a-pillar... custom center console with a down firing Fi 10"... another set of kicker componets in the console facing outwards towards driver and pass... a second custom center consloe in the rear with another Fi 10" firing upward somehow... with another set of kicker componets facing passengers... and a kicker 1500.1 for the 10's

That setup would be neat because there would be no rear subs so the bass would be coming from a new place. And it slamming with an empty rear end would be sick

i figured down firing up front and upwards firing in the back would b different... later down the road maybe a 15" in the back in a fiberglass box with like a 2500.1 on it... oh and of course dual optimas and power caps...

which part was odd? the dude who i designed that setup with is one of the dudes who builds sema stuff for alpine...

I like the paper cones in the front for the warmth.. get rid of the cold sterile sound ALL car audio 6s make.. and the down firing 10 tuned to that frequency so it pulls in vocals and quitar noises.. and the rear.. run the 12s hot and fast and let the 18 just belt out the low inaudible stuff...

I like it as a low volume.. in your face.. kinda sound.. everything is so close that you dont have to push it hard to get the notes and tones youd want..

of course granted.. it would get loud as shit too.. but i was looking for more of an actual concert sound.

i get what you r going for. with proper selection of gear all that can be achieved with one size woofer and high quality components and good placement. and lots of power of course.

well the only thing i can SORTA agree on is wanting to run an 18 and the 12s.. the rest.. im dead sold on.. the only reason i think the 18/12 combo would be cool is because i like the super tight sound of a powerful 12 when its in a tiny sealed encloser.. but i think it would be neat to add in an 18 tuned like ridiculously low , like in audible.. kinda like the old pheonix gold cyclone was.. its not even there to hear just to add in all those "feel" notes.

pretty straight with what i have. Loud enough to get compliments at shows and such but not to loud so i can jam the **** out around town.
