bill in your sig pic your paint looks like it's in good shape, if you don't have any bad scratches or heavy creases i'd look into the paintless dent removal. they can work wonders and with a little buffing and such you'd never know it was there. MUCH MUCH cheaper than bodywork. and if the paint is salvageable, i'd consider just wetsanding and fresh clearcoat.

When I bought it the paint was pretty dry so I've been waxing the piss out of it and there is a crease towards the back and some bad dents. I was thinking of having painless dent removal done and finding someone to high speed buff it.

PDR is definitely worth looking into. Some dents are too deep or 'creased' to fix like that but I'd definitely have them take a look for you at least....

10-4. there's some real artists in their field out there, if the first one says he can't do it doesn't mean the next one can't. doesn't cost to shop around.

get me a couple cases of beer and a week ill have it done cheaper then what everyones quoting you.

But, places around here are from 4 to 10 like stated above. Shit is expensive. a quart of paint is around 150bucks each. youll need 6-8 quarts for a 4door tahoe.. thats 1200 bucks in PAINT, not clear, not labor, not primer, not bondo, not masking tape.. do the math..

People honestly have no idea the price on the materials.. Masking tape alone is 15% of the entire bill.

Atomic is right on that! It's real expensive. When painting my 77 it was around 1500 just for materials and I had it mostly prepped for them when I dropped it off. He did a little more sanding to get it a little smoother and applied his own coat of poly but other than that it was all paint, clear, tape,.....
